This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and how long we keep it. It is written to describe what the website actually does rather than to cover every eventuality.

Who we are

Zero Fat Meals prepares and delivers meal plans in the United Arab Emirates. Our contact details are on the contact page. If you want to reach us about anything in this policy, that is the fastest way.

What we collect, and why

When you build a plan we collect your name, mobile number, email address and delivery address, together with the plan you chose, the meals you selected and anything you told us you cannot eat. We need all of it to cook the right food and bring it to the right door.

If you reach the last step of the plan builder and give us your details but do not complete the order, we keep those details so we can help if you meant to finish. Those records are deleted automatically after ninety days.

When you send us a message through the contact form we collect your name, your message and whichever of your email address or phone number you gave us, so that we can reply.

Our web server keeps standard access logs, and we count how many requests each visitor makes so that automated traffic cannot overwhelm the site.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your card details. When you pay, your card information goes from your browser directly to our payment provider; it does not pass through this website and we cannot charge you again without you doing it yourself.

We do not sell your information to anybody, and we do not share it for advertising.

Health and dietary information

If you tell us about an allergy or an ingredient you avoid, we use it for one purpose only: to keep that ingredient out of your food. It is visible to our kitchen and delivery staff because that is how it does its job. We do not use it for marketing and we do not share it.

Cookies

This website sets cookies that are necessary for it to work: keeping you logged in if you have an account, remembering what is in your basket, and remembering how far you have got through the plan builder so you do not lose your progress.

The plan builder also stores your unfinished plan in your own browser, on your device. It never reaches us until you choose to continue, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else sees your information

Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database. Our payment provider, which handles your payment. Our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and our replies to you. Each of them only handles what it needs to do its part.

How long we keep things

Order and plan records are kept while your plan runs and afterwards for as long as UAE tax and accounting rules require us to keep records of sales. Unfinished plan-builder enquiries are deleted after ninety days. Contact form messages are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again about the same thing.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us and we will do it, subject to any records we are legally required to keep. You can unsubscribe from any marketing message using the link in that message, which does not affect the emails we send about an order you have placed.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
